The building is a repository for the artifacts and history of the Sandy area, Boring, the Greater Mount Hood area, and other surrounding cities. The museum's location borders the exact site of the famous Barlow Road, which was the last leg of the Oregon Trail that brought thousands of pioneers in covered wagons over the Cascade Mountains to Western Oregon from the mid 1840's until the 1870's. The museum is a repository for history from this area.
Hours of operation: Monday through Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, Sunday Noon to 4:00 pm. Free admission.
Plenty of free parking.
Machine 1 is inside the entry door to the right. Cost to press: 51¢ each design. Designs all have a beaded border:
