Zoo admission is required to access the machines. Discount coupons are available at the Zoo website and at attraction brochure display racks around Colorado Springs.
There are sixteen coins from four 4 design hand crank machines (#4, 5, 6 & 7). They are scattered around the Zoo. Each penny costs $1.01.

3/14/2024. The only machine currently working is #7 in the Hippo House. The other three were nowhere to be found.
The employee working in the Gift Shop said they haven't seen anyone in close to a year to service them. They did refund the entry price since only one machine worked. (Bob TEC #4915)
