98 Duryea Drive Reading, PA , 19604 Phone: 610-655-671 Website The Pagoda is a novelty building, built atop the south end of Mount Penn overlooking Reading, Pennsylvania, United States. It has been a symbol of the city for more than a century.
There is a one dollar donation requested to climb stairs to view of Reading from the top of Pagoda. On a clear day is great!
We were surprised by this machine. The machine is located at the top of the first flight of stairs and to the left.
Designs are:
1) Pagoda
2) W.H. Penn Memorial Fire Tower
3) Duryea Hillclimb (Auto Race)
4) Reading, PA (Steam locomotive)
09/03/21: The Pagoda is still closed but now due to infrastructure improvements.
08/02/22: Still closed
2/28/24 -- Building is still closed (but is lit at night), but the grounds are open (nice views) --LJM
