The machine is at the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park Visitor Center in the state of Arizona (Monument Valley is in both Arizona and Utah), 3 1/2 miles east of U.S. Highway 163 and 2 1/2 miles southeast of the Arizona-Utah border. Hours of the visitor center are identical to those of the monument. Look for the machine upstairs in the gift shop next to the restrooms.

Are all four machines now at the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park Visitor Center? Or, is just Machine 4 there? How many machines are here at this Trading Post? Help me with my confusion. please. Thanks GSY

The entrance fee is $20.00 minimum per vehicle to access the Visitor's Center. Also be aware that the road to view the various formations is EXTREMELY primitive and is best done with an SUV or 4WD vehicle.

Hours: Summer (May-Sept) 6:00am - 8:30pm and Winter (Oct - Apr) 8:00am - 4:30pm.

All machines still cost $1.01 per coin (4 quarters & 1 penny).

07/21 - Mail off address. The View Hotel P.O. Box 360457, Monument Valley, UT 84536.

10/23/2021: There is a 4th machine (next to #2) all horizontal designs similar to machines 3 and 4 (?). MH

3/30/24: All machines still cost $1.01 per coin (4 quarters & 1 penny). My suggestion is to bring all the quarters you need to collect all the penny's you want. All sales here is done using credit/debit cards so the cashiers have no change to give. There is a machine to exchange $1 bills to quarters, but only accepts $1 bills - No other denominations. CGC
Machine 1 is still near the bathrooms and is rolling short on copper (didn't try zinc)
Machine 2 is in the entry way to the gift shop but was broken with a very small sign a quest wrote. There is a large Zip Tie inside the machine preventing it from working.
Machine 3 is still near the restaurant and rolling a little short of copper.
Machine 4 was nowhere to be found. Where did they say it went?/? Repair, Maintenance, Conversion, Moved, Retired, Other ???

Machine 1 - is at the Monument Valley Trading Post (The View Hotel Gift Shop). the gift shop is in the building next to the hotel

Machine 2 - one inside the gift shop near the restrooms
