The Oaks Skating Rink is part of Oaks Amusement Park, located along the eastern edge of the powerful Willamette River below the Sellwood bridge, 3.5 miles south of downtown Portland. Oaks Park is a small amusement park on 44-acres which includes midway games, about two dozen rides that operate seasonally, a roller skating rink that is open all-year, and picnic grounds.
Hours of operation: Varies daily, check the website and click on 'Hours'. Plenty of parking. Weekdays $3.00. Weekends "Special".
Admission: You do not have to pay admission to enter the roller skating rink. Prices vary considerably depending on what you want to do: check the website and click on 'tickets'.
Machine 3 is located year round within the skating rink before you enter the snack bar. Cost to press: 51¢ each design. Designs all have a beaded border:
