The house is located several blocks from Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The front part of the building was built around 1740, in the Georgian style, with the stair hall and the rear section added 10 to 20 years later. Ross is believed to have lived here, with her first husband, John Ross (d. 1776), from 1773 to about 1785.

Machine 4 located next to the cash register. It is a 4 design hand crank. Designs are:
1) House
2) Sewing needle and thread
3) Early US Flag with stars in a circle
4) Liberty Bell

Retired 2 designs were 1) USA, 2) From the Heart of Philly, 3) City of Brotherly Love, and 4) Liberty Bell.

The machine is located in the gift shop and admission is not required to roll pennies.
