1220 Grandview Avenue Pittsburgh, PA , 15211 Phone: (412) 381-1665 Website Duquesne Incline is an Inclined Plane Railroad, or Funicular, located near Pittsburgh's South Side neighborhood and scaling Mt. Washington. It was completed in 1877 and is 800 feet long, 400 feet in height, and is inclined at a 30 degree angle. It is an unusual 5 ft gauge.
Both machines are at the top of the incline by the doors that go out to the street. There is a gift shop that sells the Pittsburgh penny book.
