Comments:	10/06/19: Machine retired and returned to company <p> Gift shop and caves are 20 miles East of the city of Cave Junction the last section of it being very curvy with many switchbacks. Gift shop is 900 feet from parking area (per the sign) cannot actually park near gift shop as that parking is reserved for guests of the lodge. Note that this is NOT the building where you reserve for the cave tours. This is in the Chateau next to the lower pond.<p> 10/12/18: According to the website, the Chateau closed Oct 1, 2018 for restorations and will be closed for 1 or 2 years. JLT
