500 NE Captain Michael King Smith Way McMinnville, OR , 97128-8877 Phone: (503) 434-4180 Website The Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum is an aviation museum which displays a number of military and civilian aircraft and spacecraft, most notably, the Hughes H-4 Hercules "Spruce Goose". The museum is located across the street from the headquarters of Evergreen International Aviation. Oregon Route 18 separates the museum from the company operations and McMinnville Municipal Airport (KMMV). An IMAX theater opened in 2007, and a second exhibit hall focusing on the Titan II ICBM and space technology opened in 2008.
Hours of operation: Monday through Sunday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas. Admission: Adults $22, Senior (65+) $18, Youth (5 to 15) $12, under 5 free. You do not have to pay admission to access the penny machine.
Plenty of free parking.
Machine 3 (2024) is inside the main museum building, to the right, inside the Rotors, Wings & Things gift shop.
ZINC Pennies are provided in the machine and now cost $1 per press. Designs all have 'Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum': on them.
