In 1892 Goldfield, sitting near the Superstition Mountains, was a bustling town that had just struck gold. This abandoned old mining town, which has been refurbished as a tourist attraction, includes a mine tour, historic museum, a saloon, a mystery shack, Arizona’s only narrow gauge train, zipline, shops and during November though April, gunfight presentations.

Hours of operation: Monday through Sunday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Plenty of free parking.

Admission: You do not have to pay admission to access any of the 4 penny machines within the shops. Several of the attractions have an admission price; see website for prices.

11/03/24: Machine had an out of order sign on it but I tried a zinc penny and it rolled fine. I rolled all 4 designs fine.
I don't know why it had an OOO sign on it. They rolled OK on copper.
Watch the catch area as they can fly out and go through the slots in the porch floor. It's outside the photography store. JLT
