4/27/24: Looked everywhere and could not find either machine. Guy at the gift shop said he’s been getting asked about the pennies a lot lately, but it’s been a while since he’s seen them.

The New York Aquarium is the oldest continually operating aquarium in the United States, having opened in Castle Garden in Battery Park, Manhattan in 1896. Since 1957, it has been located on the boardwalk in Coney Island, Brooklyn. The facility occupies 14 acres and has over 350 species of aquatic wildlife.
