(Comment from the Owners) The penny machine located at Scarlett Knob is a hand-crank machine dating from about 1929. It can be seen in the main office. The penny die on the machine rolls pennies for Scarlett Knob Campground, Fallingwater, Ohiopyle Rafting, and the Fay-West Boy Scout Museum. WE NO LONGER PERMIT the general public to roll their own pennies, as the wear and tear is taking its toll! We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Pre-rolled pennies can be purchased as available. (We can not (and do not) change the die to roll just 4 pennies! ) We will gladly answer any questions you may have.

5/6/2024: They only had pre-rolled pennies in a tray, but they were mixed, pennies slid under dividers of tray. Thought I got 13 different pennies, but got 2 of 2 designs. Very poor lighting. charged $.75 each.
Owner was nice to talk to, no other people there. also had penny "troop 150 Scottdale PA."
