Emperor Franz Joseph and his wife Sisi, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Falco, Maria Theresia and Gustav Klimt are just some of the local personalities and historic people to be seen in the exhibition space (spread over three floors). In specially created interactive settings, you can also take an intelligence test against Albert Einstein, conduct the "Blue Danube" waltz with Johann Strauß or try to beat football legend Hans Krankl in a penalty shoot-out. International celebrities are also heavily represented: Johnny Depp, Nicole Kidman, Robert Pattinson, Angelina Jolie and Michael Jackson "represent" the show business industry. Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela represent world politics.
You do not have to pay admission to enter the park. You do have to pay admission to access the Euro cent machine inside the exhibition. If you go upstairs to the far left of the Madame Tussauds building and enter into the gift shop (it's the exhibition exit), ask one of the attendants and they might go into the exhibition and roll the Eurocents for you without you having to pay admission. They will not let you follow them into the exhibition.
Hours of operation: 7 days a week 10,00 (10:00 am) to18,00 (6:00 pm) with the last entrance at 17,00 (5:00 pm). Admission: Check the website for the latest prices. Madame Tussauds is located within the Prater amusement park. There is no car parking very close. The best way to get to the Prater is to take the U1 or U2 subway line to the Praterstern exit. Uber operates in Vienna.
