Comments:	Coeur d'Alene's Historic Playland Pier Carousel opened at its new home June 2017. The historic 1922 Spillman carousel graced the shores of Lake Coeur d'Alene from 1942 to 1973. It is now in its new home next to the City Park and Memorial grandstand.<p> The penny machine is located inside against the wall in the building with the carousel. Hours of operation: Seasonally from May to September. May and September weekends only, Saturday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday 12 noon to 5:00 pm. June 9th through August 31st Monday through Saturday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Sunday 12 noon to 5:00 pm. Plenty of free parking.<p> Designs all have a beaded border and cost 50 cents (two quarters only) on a penny that you supply:<br> 1. (H) Fire truck with 'Coeur d'Alene Firefighters Local 710'.<br> 2. (H) River cruise boat on a river in front of a mountain and trees with 'Lake Coeur d'Alene Coeur d'Alene Idaho'.<br> 3.
