Gruene General Store is located across the street from Gruene Hall, Texas' oldest dance hall. Have ice cream from the soda fountain and shop in this great store. Free parking out back of the store. Gruene is pronounced "green". German immigrants established the village before 1850. It is now part of New Braunfels, Texas
