Liberty Place is a skyscraper complex in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. The complex is composed of a 61-story 945-foot (288 m) skyscraper called One Liberty Place, a 58-story 848-foot (258 m) skyscraper called Two Liberty Place, a two-story shopping mall called the Shops at Liberty Place, and the 14-story Westin Philadelphia Hotel. Despite the opposition, construction of One Liberty Place was approved and the first phase of the project began in 1985 and was completed in 1987. When One Liberty Place was completed, it was the tallest skyscraper in Philadelphia.

Admission to the tower now is $14.50 (one-time), online tickets are a few cents cheaper; Groupon: $14. There are hourly tours. The tour guide provides valuable information and it is the quickest way to learn about Philadelphia.

Machine 1 is on the observation deck, at the exit of elevator. Each design costs $1.00. designs are:

Token Machine 1 is located outside the Gift Shop exit, down the escalator, but it also accessible without entering the observation deck admissions area. Enter the Shops at Liberty Place, 1625 Chestnut St, just left of the escalator with directions to go up, wrap around the wall to find token machine.

02/15/2022 - The website (Above) states that the Observation Deck is closed (Not permanently closed) as of September 2020 because of the pandemic. This would indicate it will open again after the pandemic restrictions are lifted. This is how I read it. Thanks, GSY
