The city is home to the Texas Renaissance Festival.<p> Just inside the gates of village, the Dragonslayer doth to make it’s home, filled with garments, gifts, goods and collectibles that truly represent the spirit and craftsmanship of the Festival. The Texas Renaissance Festival is about 50 miles northwest of Houston and is only open in October and November across eight weekends. The Texas Renaissance Festival claims to be "the nation’s largest Renaissance theme park." The festival sits on 55 acres of land, and offers camping facilities to patrons. <p> The Machine 2: (2019 season) is located on the left-hand side of the entrance of the store.
