With meandering boardwalks, sheltered bird blinds, a butterfly garden, an observation tower and a superb visitor center, this World Birding Center facility offers all the best of South Padre Island birding throughout the year. <p> The Machine is located in the lobby. Across from gift store. Designs are: <br> 1) Great Bleu Huron <br> 2) Alligator, <br> 3) Brown Pelican <p> Retired from Machine 1: 1) White Ibis <p> 11/30/21: The machine is still in the lobby but you need to ask to use it or pay to go in. The number 2 design has changed. It's now an alligator head and says 'South Padre Island & Big Padre'. The pennies have ghost impressions on their backs too. The alligator has the old design of the Ibis on the back. The fronts look fine on copper. JLT
