The Austin Aquarium is home to thousands of different species from reptiles to exotic birds, and marine animals and much more. Visitors are able to hand feed sharks, stingrays, birds, and fish, or get up close to many of the reptiles and other animals on exhibit. The aquarium provides excitement and learning opportunities about the marine life and offers educational programs and events for children. There are over 8,000 living animals representing habitats from the Oregon shores to remote Indonesian Islands.

Hours:
The Austin Aquarium hours are 10am to 8pm 7 days a week.

They do discounts for college students, military, and certified teachers.

12/13: The Pennycollector machine was added here.

3/20/2024: machine is working well. It is right before the gift shop in the exhibit. The workers allowed me to go through gift shop to shark room to press penny without paying.
The machine designs are out of order now though. When I did the ray (I think but definitely whichever was right before Sea Otter), I got the Sea Otter and it was the same throughout. All designs are there, just one behind in order.
