There is really no town called "Hershey" in Pennsylvania. The Hershey plant, Hershey's Chocolate World, and Hersheypark are in an unincorporated area within Derry Township in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
Open year-round, Hershey's Chocolate World houses the world's largest Hershey's store, as well as multiple food stands specializing in Hershey's products. Current attractions include the free Hershey's Chocolate Tour dark ride, the Great Candy Expedition immersive show, a Create Your Own Candy Bar and a Reese's Stuff Your Cup experience, a Hershey's Unwrapped theater show, and a Hershey Trolley Works tour through the town of Hershey.
Admission to Hershey's Chocolate World is free, but with the exception of Hershey's Chocolate Tour, most activities require a separate admission ticket for a fee. Although Hersheypark and Hershey's Chocolate World are in the same complex, both operate independently of each other. Parking is free for the first three hours only.
Machine 1: (2019) is a hand-crank machine in the center of food court area. 4 designs, preloaded with zinc pennies. The cost is $1 per design. The machine accepts credit card or contactless payment where $4 is charged for all 4 designs. The machine also accepts $1 bills if only a single design is wanted. All designs say 'HERSHEYSCHOCOLATEWORLD.COM' along the border. Designs are:
1) Hershey's Kiss Character (H)
2) Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Character (V)
3) Hershey's Chocolate Bar Character (V)
4) All three together waving (H)
Machine 2: (2019) is a hand-crank machine inside by the ticket counter. 4 designs, preloaded with zinc pennies. The cost is $1 per design. The machine accepts credit card or contactless payment where $4 is charged for all 4 designs. The machine also accepts $1 bills if only a single design is wanted. All designs say 'HERSHEYSCHOCOLATEWORLD.COM' along the border. Designs are:
1) Hershey's Chocolate Soldier, a mouse with hat and Musket (V)
2) 'Airplane with 'Hershey's' on top of wings (H)
3) 'A Kiss for You', man's and woman's heads kissing a Hershey's Kiss between them (H)
4) 'Made on the Farm', a cow with 'Hershey's Milk Chocolates' on it (H)
Machine 3: (2020) is an electronic machine between the entrance and the bathrooms. 8 designs, preloaded with zinc pennies. The machine accepts credit cards or contactless payment where $5 is charged for all 8 designs. The machine also accepts $1 bills if only a single design is wanted. Designs are:
