The Hundertwasserhaus is an apartment house built around the idea and concept of Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser with architect Joseph Krawina as a co-creator. The Hundertwasser Village, across the street from the Hundertwasser House, was built both on the inside and the exterior by concepts of artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser. Hundertwasser Village (or Kalke Village after Klaus Kalke the original owner of the building) is a tire factory transformed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser to hold shops, cafes & a rooftop forest. Hundertwasser Village opened to the public on June 17th 1991.

Hours of operation: Daily 7 Days a week. Seasonal from 10:00 (10:00 am) to 15:00 (3:00 pm) in winter to 10:00 (10:00 am) to 18:00 (6:00 pm) in summer. Check the website for the actual seasonal times. Free admission. Tram line 1 station Hetzgasse is only approximately 100 meters (328 feet) away, Metro U4 station Landstraße Wien Mitte is approximately 900 meters (2,953 feet) away from the Village. Uber does operate in Vienna.

Machine 3 Eurocent machine is in "Hundertwasser Village" or "Kalke Village" depending which sign you prefer. Walk straight in the main entrance and keep looking to the right. The machine is at the base of some stairs but it's on wheels so they might move it around from time to time. Cost to press: two Euros and a 2 cent Eurocent (€2,02) for each design. Designs all have a dotted border:
1. (H) Hofburg Palace with 'Austria Hofburg Wien'.
2. (V) St. Stephen's Cathedral with 'Austria Stephansdom Wien'.
3. (V) Reisenrad Ferris wheel with 'Austria Reisenrad 1897 Wien'.
4. (H) Horse drawn carriage with 'Austria Wien'.
