The Lakewood (a suburb of Denver) location opened in early 1974. The 52,000 square foot restaurant features strolling Mariachis, flame jugglers, gunfights, Pirates, Bananas the Gorilla, and a 30-foot waterfall with cliff divers. It also has a small puppet theater, a "haunted tunnel" called Black Bart's Cave, an arcade with a large skee-ball room, and a magic theater. An episode of South Park featured this restaurant. Closed from 2020-2024. Reopened in 2024 after an extensive renovation. Reservations are required for entrance.

1/22: After talking to the man at the snow cone machine who owns both smashing machines, he told me the original machine (Retired 1) is retired and at his house.
6/23: Machine 2 is retired and privately owned.
2/7/25: Machine 3 is retired. Was likely replaced circa 9/13/24.

3/22/25: Both machines are in the same locations and working well.
Machine 5 is very well hidden inside the Museo de Casa Bonita.
The game cards are dispensed at kiosks located throughout the facility. The minimum load amount is $10 (cash or card).
