Must pay admission, but only $2. <br> Park open May-Sept, need to check website calendar for hours.<p> This building opens at Noon on weekends and 6pm on weekdays, closes at 11 PM. (According to Website) <br> The gate charge is now $5. <p> Machine 1 is in a food court that does not open until 6pm. Designs are: <br> 1) Park train "Lakeside Amusement Denver Colorado", <br> 2) Park skyline including historic tower "Denver Colorado Lakeside Amusement Park", <br> 3) Cyclone roller coaster (one of the top ten wood coasters in the country) "Denver Colo. Lakeside Amusement Park". <p> 8/09/2024: Penny Press Machine is still located in the food court, as described above. <br> The Amusement Park is a bit run down, but a historical landmark from the turn of the 20th Century. Beautiful Art Deco architecture, however the buildings are no longer open to the public. <br> The Amusement Park is only open in the evenings and costs $5 for entry (all access ride pass is extra). This is a cash only operation. There are police and metal detectors at the entry, but do not let this deter you. <br> The admission staff (young adults) are very friendly and helpful in providing directions to the penny press machine.
