New York City (Manhattan), NY , 10036 Website 5/15/22: Ripley's closed indefinitely on 11/28/21 due to COVID. Machine shipped back to owner.
After 14 years, the location is now closed. I went this morning and there was a sign that said store closed on November 28th 2021. I almost wanted to cry. I called the number on the notice and a lady picked up. She said they send the machine back to the manufacture. I am so sad. VH 2021.
Machine 2: Was 5 for all 8 or $1 each pre-loaded Zinc pennies. Designs are:
1) 'Est 1918', Buda sitting,
2) Day of the Dead skull,
3) Fortune teller with globe,
4) 'Tour Guide', man with lower lip over nose,
5) Bugs,
6) Woman with scratched neck,
7) Rod through skull,
8) Two headed cow.
Token Machine 1: Was A gold 4 design. Designs are,
1) Shrunken head,
2) Padaung women of Burma,
3) Two headed calf,
4) Robert Ripley.
All token designs had Ripley’s believe it or not logo/ time square on the back.
Retired 1: 1) Man's head, 2) Man next to the pole, 3) Two headed cow, 4) Ripley's Believe It or Not Tome Square Odditorium'.
