Comments:	8/29/24: There is no penny machine in the gift shop anymore. I spoke with one of the workers and she said that they are in between machines and do not know when the next one will arrive <br> 2/8/25 Machine still gone. Employee told me they have a new machine coming either this week or next. They were at the pier doing the wiring for the new machine last week. In the gift shop they do have two different penny books for sale. <br> 3/17/25: All machines gone <p> Jennette’s Pier officially opened on Saturday, May 21. It is a $25 million ocean-fishing pier in Nags Head, NC and it includes a 16,000-square-foot pier house and 1,000-foot-long pier to enjoy. .<br> Jennette’s Pier will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week from now until Oct. 1. After that, fishing hours will be 6 a.m. until midnight for October and November.<p> Machine 2: Here soon. <p> Retired 1: 1) Pier, 2) Two Dolphins jumping, 3) 'Black Drum', 4) Sea Turtle <p> They have a collector book for sale featuring the North Carolina Aquarium in Roanoke, cover has a smashed penny laminated into the cover. <p>
