Comments:	7/24/2020: Gone. <p> Lake Mead Resort closed down in 2009. After the marina moved in 2008. The moving of the marina isolated Lake Mead Resort from their marina visitors and the number of overnight guests staying at the Resort dropped considerably. <br> In 2008 Lake Mead Marina was relocated 3 miles south on Hwy 166 to Hemenway Launch ramp, next to Las Vegas Boat Harbor. It's sitting in the area formerly known as Horsepower Cove, formerly a ski beach. Both marinas are owned by the same folks and offer slightly different services. <p> All had 'Lake Mead Resort' on them. Designs were: <br> 1) 'A Seven Crown Resort, 5SHO IV', tour boat, <br> 2) 'Home of the Desert Princess', Boat, <br> 3) 'Home of the Desert Princess', Boat, <br> Rear of all - 'Lake Mead, Lake Mead Marina Resort, Hoover Dam', image of lake
