The museum is located in the Washington-Mason working powerhouse (Where the cables are powered) and on Nob Hill. It houses a collection of historic cable cars, photographs, mechanical displays and gift shop run by the Friends of the Cable Car Museum - a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving cable car history.

The machine is in the Gift shop. No charge to get to the machine or admission to the Museum.
Designs are:
1) 'Height Ashbury', old style VW Beetle with a peace sign on it,
2) 'Chinatown Cable Car', pagoda over a cable car,
3) 'Cable Car Museum', Front view of a cable car,
4) 'San Francisco's Cable Car Museum', Side view of a cable car

Tokens: One is $3 and the other is $4

04/19 There are 3 tokens in the gift store. 04/29/23: Machine is upstairs by the gift shop. Rolling great on copper. JLT
