91 Ilsham Road DEVON - Torquay, England, TQ1 2JF Phone: +44 1803 215 136 Website Kents Cavern is one of the most important Stone Age cave sites in Europe, making it Britain's premier prehistoric cave.
For thousands of years the cave was home to ancient humans, sheltering from extreme weather, making fires, shaping stone tools and hunting wild Ice Age predators. You will be taken back to these ancient times as you walk through the extensive labyrinth of caverns surrounded by spectacular stalactite and stalagmite formations.
Outside there is plenty to entertain the family with a Stone Age woodland trail, indoor kids-archaeological dig area and hands-on cave art areas. The attraction has a superb gift shop, excellence restaurant and relaxing gardens. The Caves are 1 mile from Torquay Harbour.
Hours of operation: Monday through Sunday from 10.00 (10:00 am). The caves are open every day (except the 25th and 26th of December) for guided tours, led by entertaining guides, concluding in an underground exhibition chamber. There is no need to pay to access the machine. It is visible through the front window. Plenty of parking for a fee in front.
Machine 1 is in the entrance area. Cost to press: £1.01 each design. Designs all have a beaded border:
