Today, as museum of the Deutsche Bahn AG, together with the Museum of Communication, it forms the Nuremberg Traffic Museum. Exhibits include about 40 historic rail vehicles, among them the legendary "Adler" (Eagle) locomotive. In addition to numerous special exhibitions and events, the museum's main attraction is the "Experience Area" of 10,800 square feet (1,000 square meters).
Hours of operation: Tuesday through Friday 09.00 (9:00 am) to 17.00 (5:00 pm), Saturday, Sunday and Holidays 10.00 (10:00 am) to 18.00 (6:00 pm). Closed Monday. If you ask nicely and inform them that you are only there to press pennies, they will let you in for free. Limited on street parking.
Machine 1 is opposite to the restrooms on the second floor. Cost to press: €1.02 each design (€1 coin and a 2 Euro cent coin). Designs all have "RR" at the catch notch and a beaded border with 'DB Museum Nürnberg':
