Square de l'Atomium Brussels, Belgium, 1020 Phone: +32 (0) 2 475 47 75 Website The Atomium is a landmark building in Brussels, originally constructed for the 1958 Brussels World's Fair (Expo 58). It is located on the Heysel Plateau, where the exhibition took place. It is now a museum.
Machine 1:
The coin machine is located in the gift shop of Atomium. You can choose between two coins, which are each €2:
1. Golden coin with the image of Atomium (front) and different "must-see" sights in Brussel (back)
2. Silver coin with also the image of Atomium (front) and different "must-see" sights in Europe (back)
Machines 2,3,4 and 5 are located at the top of the Atomium next to the Restaurant.
You need to pay the entrance fee (16,50€ adults) to access the machines at the top.
Machine 2 :
Penny press costs 1 euro, cash only. All three designs are the same image of the Atomium, however the spelling of Brussels is different in each one.
Machine 3: Need Scan/ photo of designs on a plain white background.

Machine 4:
This machine is the same as machine #1 that's found in the souvenir shop. Two designs and costs 2 euro, paid in cash or card.

21/08/23: Machines 2 and 3 were out of order, 1 & 4 & 5 were working.
30/05/24: there was a machine in the gift shop which you can access without paying an entrance fee however it was a coin machine not a penny press so it doesn’t match the pictures below.
There was another coin machine in the ticket office again not a penny press machine. |
