ALSACE - Strasbourg, France, 67000 Phone: +33 3 88 21 43 34 Website Strasbourg Cathedral or the Cathedral of Our Lady of Strasbourg (French: Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-Strasbourg, German: Liebfrauenmünster zu Straßburg) is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Strasbourg, France. Although considerable parts of it are still in Romanesque architecture, it is widely considered to be among the finest examples of high, or late, Gothic architecture. Erwin von Steinbach is credited for major contributions from 1277 to his death in 1318. At 142 metres, it was the world's tallest building from 1647 to 1874, when it was surpassed by St. Nikolai's Church, Hamburg. Today it is the sixth-tallest church in the world.
These two souvenir shops are right next to each other. Hours of operation for the Cathédrale: From April to September, every day from 9:00 am to 7:30 pm, from October to March, every day from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm, from June to August, until 10:00 pm every Friday and Saturday. Closed January 1st, 5th, and December 25th. Price of admission: Adults €4.40, Children (5 to 18) and students €2.20. For groups of 20+ people: €3.30 Euro per person. Free entry on the first Sunday of each month.
