Piazza Papa Pio XII 5 Rome (Roma) - Lazio Region (RM) Roma Province, Italy, 00193 Website This is a typical Italian edicola (newsstand) that sells newspapers, periodicals, and souvenirs.
Vatican City State or State of Vatican City is an independent state located within the city of Rome. With an area of 110 acres, and a population of about 1,000, it is the smallest state in the world by both area and population. Within Vatican City are religious and cultural sites such as St. Peter's Basilica, the Sistine Chapel and the Vatican Museums. They feature some of the world's most famous paintings and sculptures.
Hours of operation: 8:00 am to 18:00 (6:00 pm). Hours may vary seasonally. Attendant may make change.
Parking is very difficult to be found nearby.
The Euro cent machine is located outside of the newsstand in Piazza Pio XII in Rome 100 feet away from Vatican City (St. Peters Basilica is in view). Since the newsstands do not have addresses, the address posted is for the Capriotti book store around the corner.

The Euro cent and token machines are provided by http://www.maecri.com/en/, hence the MC mark at the catch notch of the Euro cent.
Retired machine 1 has been replaced with another 4 design machine. 3 designs are the same and the one changed design is that of the new pope.
9/23/17: Machine 2 & Token Machine 1 here. Machine 1 retired. Also the basilica design did not register properly and gave me another copy of the Pope Francesco design. I would try that one first just to be safe.
