Seoul, South Korea Website Namsan Seoul Tower is a communication and observation Tower located in Nam Mountain, central Seoul, South Korea. Built in 1969, and opened to the public in 1980, the Tower has been a symbol of Seoul and measures 236.7 m (777 ft) in height and tops out at 479.7 m (1,574 ft) above sea level. It has also been known as the Namsan Tower or Seoul Tower.
Many visitors ride the Namsan Cable Car up the mountain, and then walk to the Tower. The Tower features a gift shop and restaurants on the ground floor. Visitors may go up the Tower for a fee. There are four observation decks (the 4th observation deck, which is the revolving restaurant, rotates at a rate of one revolution every 48 minutes), as well as gift shops and two restaurants. Most of the city of Seoul can be seen from the top.
Each coin is 1,000won to press (2 X 500 won coins) and the machine provides a blank for pressing.

August 2019, Tower 5th floor has a machine. You will find a machine just after you get off the elevator to the top of the tower. There are 4 designs and you need KRW 2000 for each.

Admission is required to access machine 4, but machine 5 doesn't require any admission fee..
Machine 4 is still there on the 5th floor observation deck along with 2 token machines.
Machine 5 has moved down along with 1 token machine to the 1st floor outside the entrance of N Gift. |
