Machine Designs:
1) "International Spy Shop" name inside circle with a Cable Car in the middle.
2) "International Spy Shop" photo Golden Gate Bridge,
3) "International Spy Shop San Francisco, California. Alcatraz 'The Rock' " side view of Alcatraz island,
4) " International Spy Shop ISS" globe with name inside, head and feet of a man.
Just FYI, the "circle" the cable car is in is supposed to look like you're looking through the barrel of a gun and the "swirls" are the rifling of the barrel. This is to evoke the opening sequence of James Bond movies with James Bond being tracked by a gun and then he turns and fires at the camera, and blood comes down. I don't know if whomever designed the coin knows that it looks like a sniper is taking aim at a defenseless cable car... :-) The "head and legs behind globe" design is meant to evoke "The Man From U.N.C.L.E." logo: http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:sFCSwGV2bCAqxM:http://www.manfromuncle.org/mfutv.jpg
UPDATE: 01-24-10 Store is open for business and has been for a while. Apparently they never really "closed down" for good because of the tax problem, they just had to deal with the IRS. Anyway, there is NO penny machine at the store and according to the employee I talked to, who has been there for 2(two) years, they have not had one since they've been there (The employee isn't very informed, is he). You should visit, though, very neat store, and super friendly employees. -Chuck |
