To attract more visitors he added some play features to it. Two years later he changed the name to The Relaxation Oord Eleven Provinces. Over the years were added several play areas, the teahouse expanded to a restaurant. In 1947 began the construction of the maze, which eventually would take three years and then a restaurant with rooms was expanded. In 1956 started the park with the construction of a Fairy Tale Garden.
In the seventies, the first big attractions were added like the Monorail, Casa Magnetica, Sea Lions Show, Westernhal and Jungle Vaart. In 1978 the second generation of Van den Berg joined the management: Hans, Ben and John Jr. The name changed shortly thereafter, in today still known Hellendoorn.
