265 Polebridge Loop Polebridge (West Glacier National Park), MT , 59928 Phone: 406-888-5105 Website Polebridge Mercantile, originally established by William and Jessie Adair, has been serving the North Fork community in remote Northwest Montana for over 100 years. Much as it has from the beginning, the “Merc” serves as a general store, bakery, base camp, and vacation getaway. It is one of the anchors of the North Fork experience and an essential stop for anyone visiting the west side of Glacier National Park. Some even know it as “The North Fork’s Last Best Outpost”.
This store closes for the winter season right after Labor Day and reopens in May.
PennyCollector machine 'speed rolling' works on this machine nicely. Designs are:
1) Bear Grass
2) St. Mary Lake
3) Going to the Sun Road
4) Mountain Goat
5/24/2022- this machine has been moved to the brand new west glacier gift shop located inside the park entrance but before the entrance fee is needed. Both machines tell you where the other is (the other is in the same spot as always) it's located just to the left as you walk into the store, it is right across the street from the Sinclair's. |
