Ford's Theatre is a historic theatre in Washington, D.C., used for various stage performances beginning in the 1860s. It is also the site of the assassination of U.S. President Abraham Lincoln (by actor John Wilkes Booth) on April 14, 1865. After being shot, the fatally wounded Lincoln was carried across the street to the Petersen House, where he died the next morning.

You do not need to buy a ticket to access the machines.

Machine 3: In the back of the upstairs gift shop. 51 cents (2 quarters and penny) each design. All have "Ford's Theater, Where Lincoln's Legacy Lives" on the back:
1) "The Road to the White House" Lincoln on train car,
2) A Presidential Seal,
3) The White House,
4) Clean shaven portrait of Lincoln "One Country One Destiny".

Machine 4: (2017) Located across from ticket booth. Only takes $1 bills / doesn't require your own penny, dispenses shiny new Zinc penny. Designs are:
1) Museum Logo,
2) Bust of Lincoln with name and info,
3) Image of Theater,
4) Inside of Ford's theater.

Token machine 1:

Retired machines:

Retired 1: 1) The Image is of Lincoln in front of the US Flag. It says Lincoln Bicentennial 1809 - 2009 rear also
Retired 2: All have "Ford's Theater, where Lincoln's Legacy Lives" on the back: 1) A Lincoln signature and "One Country, One Destiny", 2) The Ford Theater Building, 3) The Presidential Box where Lincoln was Shot, 4) A Bust of Lincoln.
