The Angels were originally based in Los Angeles and were owned by “Singing Cowboy” Gene Autry. Prior to Anaheim Stadium, the Los Angeles Angels played at Wrigley Field in 1961 (Wrigley Field in Los Angeles was demolished in 1969) and Chavez Ravine (Home of the Dodgers Stadium) from 1962-65. Anaheim Stadium has been the home of the Angels since their move from Los Angeles following the 1965 season. 9/17/23 Medallion Machine Not Working KB
10/1/2023 - Last home game of the 2023 season. The penny machine is working great on copper.
The medallion machine was still not working.
This is my third game this season and every time it was unplugged ("broken"). One of the workers said the machine was bad luck. Seriously, does that mean if it's plugged in then the Angels lose? I know a lot of people wanted those medallions. Lost revenue because of superstition? Well the Angels did win. --Randy K. |
