Take the Washington St. exit, the second exit after the Interstate-8 interchange. At the Stop light, turn right onto W. Washington St. Go straight through the next two Stop lights. This will take you directly to Gate 5.<br> <b>From the West:</b> <br> Take Rosecrans St. to Lytton St. Turn right onto Lytton St. At the curve in the road, the street becomes Barnett Ave. Continue straight on Barnett for approximately one mile where the road will merge with the Pacific Highway. Washington St. This will take you directly to Gate 5.<p> Machine is located in the Marine Corps Exchange area, next to the ticket office (ask for MCX at the gate and they will know what you want). We stopped but due to an emergency on base we could not get a visitor pass. When you go in to request a pass tell them your going to the museum, I was told that I would not be able to get a pass (if not for the emergency that was going on) just to get the penny but would be able to get one to go to the museum which is near the penny machine location. 10/07/19. Machine is gone. Woman at the Ticket office knew what I was asking about and was surprised to see it was gone. Might be back as the Exchange area is getting a remodel.

From the north:
