Broad Street OXFORDSHIRE- Oxford, England This was an exhibition of the history of Oxford University. There was a sit-down ride on 3 levels with scenes of Oxford from Medieval to modern days; historic events and famous people linked with the University. 24 articulated, electric powered cars modelled on student desks moved along at walking pace, with a commentary through earphones lasting 25+ minutes, in 6 languages and with smells & sounds en route. Owned by Heritage Projects Ltd, who also run York's Jorvik Centre and Portsmouth's Spinnaker. The exihibition & ride closed down in October 2007, after 20 years.
