It is the Shrine of St Cuthbert and the Venerable Bede, the Seat of the Bishop of Durham and a focus of pilgrimage and spirituality in North-East England.<br> In addition it has been the venue of many TV shows and Films including the first two Harry Potter Films and Avengers: Endgame.<p> <b>The Penny Press</b> have installed a new 4-Die, contactless machine in the Cathedral. The machine is located in between the cafe and gift shop, it is free to access but a donation would be welcomed. Each penny is £1.50 to press.
