400 West Street Rocky HIll, CT Phone: (860) 529-8423 Website Dinosaur State Park and Arboretum is a state-owned natural history preserve occupying 80 acres in the town of Rocky Hill, Connecticut. The state park protects one of the largest dinosaur track sites in North America. The park was created in recognition of fossil trackways embedded in sandstone from the beginning of the Jurassic period, about 200 million years ago. The facility is managed by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.
Exit 23 off I-91 South in Rocky Hill, follow park signs east on West Street for approx. 1 mile. Park is directly off West St on right, watch for the sign and large geodesic dome.
The literature says open year round 9-4:30 pm, but the sign on road says closed Mondays.
