In theory, the machine is freely accessible at all times. Use the cable car station at Brülisau (address: Dorf 22 Brülisau) to get to the restaurant at the mountain cable car station.
When you arrive at the mountain station you have to go through the entrance tunnel, then turn right and you are in the entrance hall of the revolving restaurant. On the right side you can now go out through a glass door and outside the door is the machine.

It can only be paid at the machine with 1 x 2 francs and not, as with many other machines, optionally with 2 x 1 francs! Total price is swiss 2.20.
