Madame Tussauds in London was founded by Marie Tussaud who gave it her name. The original collection consisted of around 400 figures. The first museum was founded in London on Baker Street in 1835. In 1884 the museum was moved to its present location on Marylebone Road. The London Madame Tussauds is also home to some of the oldest wax models in the Madame Tussauds collection, some of which were created by Marie herself. With over 150 wax figures on display, spread out across 11 different themed zones, you can definitely see a lot. The main zones are as follows: Music, Royals, Sport, Fashion and Film. However, do be aware that the figures and zones do change from time to time.

Hours of operation: Opening times vary from 09.00 (9:00 am) to 10.00 (10:00 am), and the closing time also varies between 15.00 (3:00 pm) and 17.00 (5:00 pm). These times depend on the day of the week and the time of the year, with less popular days normally having shorter opening hours: check the website.

Admission: Online from £37 per adult. On the day of the visit, £45 per adult. You must pay admission to access the penny machines. If you ask nicely, the security at the exit may let you in to press from the machine in the gift shop without paying.

No on-site parking, but there are multiple parking garages in the area. The Baker Street underground train stop (Tube stop) is the nearest.

Machine 12 is in the gift shop before the exit, next to the cashiers till. Cost to press: £1.01 each design. Credit card or Euro-Cheque card only. The penny is supplied by the machine. Designs all have a solid ringed border:
