The award-winning Beatles Story is the world's largest permanent exhibition purely devoted to the lives and times of The Beatles. The Beatles Story takes visitors on an atmospheric journey through the lives, times, culture and music of The Beatles. Take a magical history tour and see how four young lads from Liverpool were propelled to the dizzy heights of worldwide fame and fortune to become the greatest band of all time – from their Liverpool childhood, through the early days of the band, to world domination and on to their solo careers. Find out how the Fab Four met, go behind the scenes at the famous Abbey Road Studios and take an underwater trip on the Yellow Submarine! You can even go right back to the place where it started and hang out at the Casbah Coffee Club or explore the stunning replica of the Cavern Club. With a rolling program of other special exhibitions, you can visit time and time again and always discover something new.

Hours of operation: open every day from Monday to Sunday (excluding December 25th and 26th). Winter hours: November 1st through March 31st 10:00 am to 18:00 (6:00 pm) with last admission at 17:00 (5:00 pm). Summer hours: April 1st through October 31st 09:00 am to 19:00 (7:00 pm) with last admission at 17:00 (5:00 pm). Check the website for holiday hours. Adults £19, Concession (senior citizens 60+/students) £15, Children (aged 5-15 years) £10.50, Family Saver (2 Adult+2 Children) £50.00.
You do not have to pay admission to access the gift shop, but the Beatles Store Exhibition tour is HIGHLY recommended. The penny machine is at the end of the Beatles Story Exhibition tour. To just obtain the pennies and not have to pay admission, enter at the grade level door that's marked as the Fab 4 Café / Gift shop. The gift shop and end of the tour is now situated 50 yards to the right of the Beatles Store Exhibition entrance.
Parking for the Albert Dock is at the 24-hour Arena and Convention Centre Liverpool and Albert Dock multi-story car park, and a limited amount of parking on the Dock itself. There is also extra parking at Liverpool One’s Q Park and the John Lewis car park on Liver Street. Parking facilities are open 24 hours a day. Parking and handicap accessible parking are not free.

Machine 6 is downstairs past the gift shop between the Fab 4 Café and the exit of the Beatles exhibition tour. Cost to press: £2.00 each design. Payment by contactless chip credit card (Tap to Pay) or smart phone only. Penny (copper blank) supplied from an internal hopper. Designs all have a solid ringed border:
