Spread over 70 acres within Mohawk Park (One of the largest municipal parks in the United States) on the northern edge of Tulsa, the Tulsa Zoo is home to over 1500 animals. The beautifully landscaped paths provide views of tigers, elephants, bears, chimpanzees and many other species. Animal demonstrations are scheduled throughout the week, and special seasonal exhibits are also presented, such as Wings of Wonder, an aviary filled with thousands of rare butterflies. The zoo also features a children's zoo and many educational exhibits relating to zoology and the natural sciences, such as the North American Living Museum, making it a favorite educational trip for children.

3/119/22: There is no machines in the gift shop,
One employee offered to walk us to use one of them;
Employee selling tickets was a bit reticent to allow entry without admission solely for pennies, but did eventually acquiesce.
