Comments:	Machine 3 has 4 new designs, The machine is located within the gift shop. It is a Penny Smasher manufactured by Global Impressions. <p> <b>The Machine 3:</b> located in the gift shop near the entry to the Kid's Park. Designs are: <br> 1) Museum logo, <br> 2) Microscope, <br> 3) Otter, <br> 4) Hand print. <p> Single design machines 1 and 2 are Retired. <p> 9/26/24 - <br> Using the "lip balm strategy" (coating the penny with lip balm before loading it into the machine, originally recommended by ParkPennies.com) in conjunction with turning the handle extremely slowly provides excellent results and compensates for the machine being known to roll short. James McNally of ZZZCoins commented that the issue of short rolling was MUCH worse years ago, but taking the necessary precautions mitigates this issue. <br> Nevertheless, the "flexing" problem also described by ParkPennies remains an issue, because after each coin was finished, an audible "clunk" could be heard as the roller jolted back into position.
