The business within has changed over the years, ranging from a hotel, to bars, markets, and even a U.S. Post Office. At the Genoa Country Store, opened in 1999, grab a homemade meal, or grab something to go from a nearly complete market brimming with snacks and refreshments of all kinds. The store is across the street from the Genoa Bar and Saloon, the oldest bar in the state of Nevada which opened in 1853.
