Founded in 1957, the Mariposa Museum & History Center houses a large array of exhibits interpreting Native American, Spanish Settlement, California Gold Rush, Yosemite, and Mariposa County History. Our World Class Vault contains a large archive of photographs, special collections, and Mariposa County Records.

The machine is at the front door to your 11 o'clock Downstairs.

Designs are:
1) Gold Miner 1849 Gold Rush,
2) 1873 Stamp Mill (rock crushing machine),
3) Mariposa Museum and History Center 1957 (pix of Yosemite Half Dome),
4) Miwuk Umutcha (Local Indian tribe home).
