“Harukas” is an old Japanese expression meaning “to brighten, to clear up.”
As its namesake suggests, OSAKA HARUKAS embodies the exhilaration of clear, sweeping views of Osaka from its top floor 300 meters in the air.
The complex’s wide array of facilities and amenities answer every need, promising every visitor a relaxing time in a bright, comfortable environment. Osaka Harukas is the future of multifunctional urban space in the sky. To get to the Abeno Harukas Observatory, go up to the 60th floor by elevator and then down 1 floor (59floor) by the escalator.

In front of the souvenir shop, you will find the penny machines. Each design costs 200 yen.

Machine 1: All have 'Abeno Harukas' on them:
1) Image of tower in diamond,
2) Bear in a half circle,
3) Bear to the left of the tower name

Machine 2: All have 'Abeno Harukas' on them:
1) Bear on the right side of the tower,
2) Image of tower and trees around and clouds beside,
3) Image of the tower with clouds on either side, no trees.
